“The Heart Whisperer” screening event at NSU Shepard Broad College of Law was organized by Nova SE Students Animal Legal Defense Fund and Be An Animal Hero. It was the first in a series of university screenings – if you wish to book a program, sign up on our site (https://www.animalherokids.org/be-an-animalhero-education-sanctuarypartnerships/).

“We are screening this film because animal rights are important,” said NSU Students Animal Legal Defense Fund Vice President Brittany Selditch. “I believe if people truly knew how animals are treated, they would make the right choice to not support these violent industries.”
“We are almost at a point of no return.
It’s vital for our planet’s survival that we eat plant-based in a larger way. The suffering in animals’ lives, our own health issues, and the climate crisis can all be alleviated by a vegan diet,” I stated in the news release, in my role as an activist, humane educator and author of the Veganza Animal Heroes series. My over four decades of animal activism is a thread in the “The Heart Whisperer” documentary to demonstrate the positive changes made for other animals, and to underline what still needs to happen from one person’s viewpoint.
A Veganza Animal Heroes cake was created by Sira Garib, celebrity vegan baker and CEO of South Florida bakery Pure Vegan Cakes.
Veganza Animal Heroes
The heroes serving lunch were dressed as characters from the “Veganza Animal Heroes” novel I wrote. Freedom was portrayed by professional vegan body builder Korin Sutton, owner of Body HD Fitness, Courage the Mermaid was portrayed by local vegan actress and dancer, Sky Bison, and guess who was Veganza? The vegan heroes are educating around the world, promoting the power of kindness and going vegan. The trifecta of Veganza Animal Heroes are also available for interviews, panel discussions and in-studio vegan food recipes and demonstrations from the books, and to give “Go Green” vegan tips.
